Lowrie, showing he belongs as starter
March 16, 2009
Jed Lowrie finished 3-for-4 with a solo homer and drove in two runs, as Boston clipped Toronto, 6-4, in Grapefruit League play. There are a lot of guys who feel Lowrie is not really that good. He does not steal bases and he has no pop. I do not agree. I would think that if he was able to start through the season he could at least hit 10 HR's and own 80 runs with maybe 70 RBI. Does anyone think he will do better than that? I am expecting everyone here to say "YES". LOL
He hit a HR today which is of course encouraging. So just wondering how psyched everyone is that Lowrie will be our starter as SS and possibly for the entire season. Cause I think our stock just went up.
DRAFTAHOLIC!!!
