I am not good at this.but here goes.....
I live in Yankee/Philly territory, so growing up I have always been an outcast, But I so enjoyed it. I have been called an Idiot(of course) and other names I would rather not repeat. I was lucky enough to have a grandfather who stood with me. I love him for giving me something I will always love.
I always loved going to Boston..I believed even as a kid that although I lived in Pa, Boston was my home...I still do.
We have all stood and had faith in the SOX, even when things were bad..it did not matter to us..we cheered anyway..not like those spankees who boo their own. We are real.
I go to Fenway..loving it. Where else can you find 40 thousand cheering for the same thing. Every trip there I make new friends...Sox fans are awesome, and always willing to make one feel at home. I am never afraid to talk with anyone....they are all awesome.
Now, having found all of you here, it does feel like an extended family. I look forward to hearing from you, and no one here judges. We just all want the same thing. Ihope my next trip I will be lucky enough to meet a few of you.
MANNY Hitting the # 500, well #501, and we all shared it together. Dosn't get better than this. You guys are awesome, and real. Thanx for allowing me to be a part of it.
