From my couch on this rainy Friday evening, it seems to me that the Sox are looking fairly decent going into this year's free agent hullabaloo. We aren't necessarily 'dying' to fill any roster holes and in my opinion really just need to look into a big bat to get some clout in the lineup besides Ortiz.
Teixeira would be amazing - but Youk and Lowell are our guys at the corners and I am not willing to snub either one. They've both been huge assets to our roster season after season and honestly I'm not that thrilled with the idea of chanting "Teixeira, Teixeira,!"
It's kind of a mouthful.
