Rays fight back in the 9th
September 6, 2008

So going into the 9th the Jays were ahead 3-0 thanks to 2 solo jobs by Lyle Overbay. The Rays have jumped on the board putting up 3 in the 9th headed off by a big 2 run bomb from Rocco Baldelli. Wheeler is coming in in the bottom half now. COME ON TORONTO!

Scott Rolen started the inning with a 2 out double, then got caught between 3rd and home to end it trying to score on a ball that looked like it was going to sneak past Jason Bartlett. On to the tenth.

After an uneventful top half of the 10th the Jays send the 9,1,2 guys to the pate (combined 1-10 on the day) and JP Howell is coming to the bump for Tampa.
