I don't like it either, Kippster. 2006 was not a fun year for us and the WBC contributed to that. I'd rather see Dice-K pitch in October than in March.11/21/2008 10:52 AM |

It's every 3 years and while I don't like most of our players participating in it, I don't mind the idea of Dice-K pitching in it. I think he needs a little bit longer in spring training to warm up and this might get him ready for the season a little bit faster. He'll probably get a week or so off in the middle of the season so he can be rested for October.
