Next game: September 10, 2008 Green Monster SRO Sox vs Rays, of course I knew it'd be a big series when I bought the tickets in Feb. SP: Who knows? Previous games 4/8/08 Matsuzaka (W) 5-0 vs Tigers. Rings, banners and a win. 4/10/08 Wake (W) was shaky, but got the win. Crazy game with bad pitching on both sides. Sox win 12-6. Papelbon gets the save. 4/20/08 Wake (W) again, fewer pitches, fewer walks, more runs. Manny was ejected in the 2nd so the bench played a BIG role in the game. Lugo even played left field for half an inning--crazy. Sox come back to win 6-5 and Papelbon gets the save. 4/24/08 Masterson's big league debut, six strong innings, but in the end the flu bug helped the Angels get the win. Delcarmen, and his dizziness, took the loss. 4/29/08 Lester vs. Halladay--pitcher's duel right to the very end. 8 innings of 1 hit ball from Lester and a complete loss from Halladay thanks to Youk's walk off single. Great game, just wish it'd have been a little warmer. 5/2/08 2 hour 27 minute RAIN DELAY, fun, fun, fun. Brandy Moss hit a solo home run, scored from first, had an outfield assist and followed it up the next day with an appendectomy--unbelievable. Clay got the win, Oki pitched the 8th, Pap in the 9th. Good game. 5/19/08 Lester's no hitter. Nuff 'ced. 6/4/08 Beckett--finally! Prequel to the Brawl of 08. 6/20/08 Celtics tribute--duck boats and a rain delayed first pitch from Paul Pierce. Wakefield got the loss, but we kept it close and had a chance to beat the Cards in the last out. 7/7/08 Another pitcher's duel, this time between Dice-K and Baker from the Twins. Scoreless game into the 8th, Oki came in in relief and didn't let any runs score, Manny gave the team the win with an RBI single in the bottom of the 8th. 7/28/08 Dice-K, again, this time not as effective. In his last at bat of the game, Manny hit his final home run in a Red Sox uniform against K-Rod. 8/12/08 Crizazy game! Zink's debut and about 4 games in 1--19-17 win--pheew. 8/31/08 Wake pitched well, but the triple A lineup just couldn't get enough runs for him. 4-2 loss to the White Sox.

	Thank you for your comment on my blog I believe The rays are a fraud because they have played more home games and less road games than anyone in baseball inflating their record in the process. and payback is oh so sweet posted @ 06/05/2008, 4:04pm

		They have played alot of games at the Trop, but they've also played alot of games against the AL East and have a pretty good record against them. It'll be interesting to see how they react to being knocked out of first place and see if the fight helps or hurts them. That'll be a big test for them. posted @ 06/06/2008, 12:34pm
