 Sean McAdam joins Boston Herald

Providence's loss is Boston's gain.Sean McAdam has arrived in Boston to continue his stellar career of reporting on,among other things,the Boston red Sox. Here's all the details about it in this story from the Boston Herald staff.

The Boston Herald added another heavy hitter to its sports lineup yesterday, hiring Sean McAdam as a member of the newspaper’s Red Soxcoverage team.

McAdam brings with him 23 years of experience covering the Red Sox for the Providence Journal.

Why on earth are they all moving this season? It's so crazy. I was kinda hoping he'd end up with the Globe.

Believe ..
Combination of things -- print media is cutting back, due to losses. If you want to be a print reporter, you have also be able to talk on radio and TV. Plus, some online providers are hiring people away from the print world.
