About Me

I'm 56 years old, and I saw my first Red Sox game at Fenway around 1959 or 1960.


I sit in grandstand section 15, thus the screen name. I've had seats in that section for 21 years.

I'm a member of The Lost Nation, which is an active online group. Also the BoSox Club, which is the official booster club of the Red Sox (www.bosoxclub.com), RSN online -- where my name is also section15. I've had a weekly date with my wife at Fenway since 1972.

I ran for RSN President in 2007, and made it into the top 25 but not to the top 10. Still, the campaign was a lot of fun and we made a lot of new friends. Getting to chat with Sox officials, including Larry Lucchino, was a highlight of the campaign, and we were fortunate to be able to invite friends to the reception.

The profile pic is of me, my daughter Jill, her fiance Jonas, and my wife Joan - this was taken just before we stepped out of the Baseball Tavern and over to Fenway for the sixth game of the 2007 ALCS.

Joan and I just celebrated our daughter's wedding .. on October 11. Joan and I have had our "weekly date" at Fenway for all of those years, and it's VERY special when we can keep that date through most of October!
