About Me

Well, I've always enjoyed baseball, even though I didn't really know that much about it. My home town has always been Yankee madness (and still is), however I always despised them. Not knowing much about baseball at the time, I didn't have a "favorite" team. However, the Mets farm team used to play a short distance from where I grew up. I tried to go to all of the home games and therefore felt a connection with the NY Mets and anybody who beat the Yankees. As time went by I was "exposed" to Red Sox mania. I learned the history, followed the team and began to appreciate them, wishing I had discovered this earlier. I was amazed at the difference between NY fans and Boston fans. As time went by and my knowledge grew, I realized I was always a Red Sox fan. I just didn't know it. This past summer I finally made it to Fenway Park. This only confirmed what I already knew.
