I have never been more disgusted in all of my life. I just finished reading the article about a NH woman who literally ran her car into a man and a woman, killing the man, simply because they were Sox fans.... that’s taking the rivalry waaaaaaaaaay too far. While I hate the Yankees just as much as anyone I would never speed up my car and run it into a group of Yankee fans.

What disgusts me even more are the comments being made in regards to the article…..

“I can tolerate the Yankee fans at my stadium. They have class and come out in big numbers, but they don’t disrespect the home team or its fans like stupid Red Sox fans do. Red Sox fans act like they are god’s gift to baseball. Nothing worse than a Red Sox fan.”

“goes to show how stupid baseball fans are and in particular the fans of these two teams!!! Lock her up forever and make her listen to Remy and Orsillo 24 hours a day, 7 days a week until she dies of unnatural causes!!”

“you northerners are a bunch of morons! Why do you argue so violently over the stupidest, most boring game ever?”

What the hell – a man is dead and that’s all you have to say?.....

The woman is being charged with 2nd degree murder.... she didnt pull a trigger, instead she took a 2 ton vehicle and accelerated it into 2 innocent people. There was obviously intent there - it takes longer for a vehicle to reach the point of destination than a bullet, and a vehicle has brakes - she could have stopped the car at any point (thats the joy of having an emergency brake as well).... but she didn't stop the vehicle..... she kept going - that seems like 1st degree murder to me.......................

whatever she gets I hope she rots........

	It's pretty sad but it's a fact of life, human life has become the cheapest commodity. And as sadly the comments coming out are to be expected too. 	A friend of mine does Yankee blogs and obviously he was really upset when Corey Lidle's plane crashed. Some of the comments people made about that were equally as disgusting as these comments on this blog. 	I know so many people that say baseball is life.... for this poor man baseball was death, and thats sad. Everyone has heated arguments/debates, but to consciously leave the bar, get into your car and choose to accelerate towards a group of people - even if it was only to scare them like she said - its asinine. 	She is facing life in prison. Murder, aggrivated DWI and no bail was offered to her. She said she thought they'd move before she hit em. They guy actually shielded people and pushed them outta the way as the car was running into the group. Sad statement for humanity. 05/06/2008 9:40 AM

Well first of all, I'm sorry for the man who was killed in this incident. It just goes to show tha this is a sad case of when people take their sports passion to the nth degree to the point they want to go out there cause chaos and deaths. Intent to kill someone is the same thing to me as killing someone. It's one thing that fans exchange words, trashtalk each other's teams and make derogatory comments about the players or cities of their opponent. 	As much as I am outraged by what this woman did,I believe some skinny guy got beaten up after leaving Fenway recently.
