Yesterday today it was tomorrow and tomorrow today will be yesterday ! Yes indeed today will be Yesterday as the sox have rung out Manny Ramirez , who’s efforts helped us achieve two world series rings but , who’s attitude and brain farts helped him get traded out of town , we all know this was orchestrated by his agent Scott Borass who knew Manny had no chance of getting out of Boston unless he was perceived to be a problem , well Manny went and became a problem hence ring out the old …
Now lets ring in the new , Welcome Jason Bay who’s career stats may pale in comparison to Manny’s , however over the past three years he has posted quite similar if not better numbers ,.Bay is also a better fielder and base runner than Manny and a threat to steal 20 bases a year , he is a two time allstar and averages 20 to 30 round trippers a year,
All in all a very good player , he may not make the hall of fame, but at this stage of his career, (he is 29 years old ) he is in his prime and will help the Red Sox for years to come, he is a hustler and a gritty dirt dawg type ball player, he should fit right into the Red Sox clubhouse , so lets ring out the old with a salute and a thank you to Manny for what he helped this team accomplish in the past and lets ring in the new and welcome Jason Bay for what we hope he will bring to this team and help it accomplish in the future ,,,,
