I like Eric Gagne more than Johnny Damon right about now. Damon went to the dark side and joined the evil empire thus, he is dead to me. I am not saying that I have forgotten his contribution to the Red Sox, but I truly believe he pulled a scumbag move in leaving the Red Sox offer on the table and going to the yanks. I have to question his character in making that choice. Especially after swearing to the fans and media that he would NEVER go and play in new york. I am sure his scumbag, shark agent, Scott Boras had a lot to do with the choice Damon made, but I doubt he held a gun to his head. I will never forget what he did for our Sox. I will also never forget what he said about never going to the Yankees. Being a true Red Sox player is about playing from the heart and staying true to your heart. He left Boston going not only against his words, but against what being a true Red Sox player is all about. He left, shaved his beard and cut his hair all for what? No World Series ring to back up that horrific move. Remind you of anybody? Alex Rodriguez.
