True Fans

I never blog, and to be truthful I am not good at it . I never complain , I am here for the sox and the sox only,, I am a true fan have been since I can remember, I worship at the church of fenway and I bleed red sox blue and red, I don t need to bash others to feel l good about my fanhood , that is something I hold within,

All sox fans are equal , it dosn’t matter how recent they have come to the faith , or how long they have been suffering under the years of trail and tribulations , you older fans seem to hold it against the newer fans because they did not suffer though the lean years as you and I have,

I say we are all fans and we are all equal all have the right to worship at fenway , what I see on this site lately makes me sick this is a red sox site and we should pull together in the name of the sox , if you cannot do that it doesn’t matter how long you have been a fan you are wrong, and you are not a true fan , you must educate the uninitiated not bash him and the fan base will prevail

We are all in this together , cut the crap and worship your sox, nuff said

i think what we are seeing here is a phenomenon that happens in nearly all forum/blogs for any subject matter. there will always be the veterans and there will always be new guys (and girls). unfortunately it seems to not matter whether people are drawn to a place for the same reason they will always find ways to argue about it. i am one of the 2 australians on this site and both of us are coming over (seperately) this year for our first visits to fenway. i have recieved nothing but welcome from the people on this site and i hold plenty of respect for all of you and jealousy in the fact that you are all so much closer to the home of the sox then I. id ask everyone to get over their childish arguments but it will never happen just like it never happens anywhere else. in conclusion i dont like to use the shift key, and everyone needs to spend the energy used hating each other on some skankees and some devil rays. ...View More

This blog echoes my long held sentiments about "being a fan": everyone's "fanhood" is personal, so we shouldn't judge others based on our own definition of fanhood, just embrace each other for being fans of the Sox. You know it's gone too far when people are making blogs with mis-information and a link to a virus. We've hit rock bottom. As I've said before, it's futile to think everyone will get along, but we can choose to leave each other alone and root for our Sox. I hate drama, admit I have gotten into a ittle, but always debate with words not hate. I never got into chat or myspace, this is my first social networking site and have met some people who are special and I care about. I find it amazing to care about people I never met, but I do.
