Are the Sox going to catch the Rays ?

I would like to know what people think about this new Ray team that is down here in Florida and whether the Sox are powerful enough to over take them?

I feel that they will, but would like to get somediscussion on the matter. In any means I know they will make it very interesting.

I feel: September is like Playoffs round one. . if you ask me. the personnel moves and the way the players respond, the big dogs, the experienced play off teams. . will gain ground, the unexperiencd will fold, lose ground and fail..this is where I feel the Rays will crumble; they are not a september team, haven't proven themselves to be yet.... the Sox however has only been 80% or less all season and we're doing this well now, we'll respond to pressure, and excel as always, I think that wil lover take the Rays by 1 or 1.5 games come end of september! ...View More

	we will catch the Rays...as I have said, remember the date SEPTEMBER 5TH! That is the day the Rays free fall begins and the day we start our ascent back to the top. Soc have a ton of home games left, Tampa not so much...This is still our division to lose. 08/29/2008 7:03 PM

I've seen us lead the division for most of the year only to flounder in late August/early September and watch the Yankees end up coming up from behind and taking the division. I believe the same thing will happen this year but it's us that is gonna overtake the Rays. If the Rays do end up holding on, hats off to em, they've earned it but I won't concede the Division till the Math says so. ...View More
