Well we are stuck in the three slowest sports days of the year. only major sport event is the MLB All Star game, which is just a exhibition for the fan and players that lost its appeal when baseball started inter league play. Up until that point the only time the national and American leagues would play each other were the World Series and the All Star game.
Well after these next few days of boredom the Sox open the second half of the year with there last West Coast trip till October for a possible playoff match up. Out of the two series on the west coast the Angels could put up a tough fight and could be a possible playoff preview once again. The other Series is up in Seattle versus a team that many thought would contend with the Angels for the west but they have all but rolled over and died this year. Well i that this could be a good six game stretch for the Sox to end their road troubles and should head back home to the play the Yanks with at least 4 or 5 wins to start the second half.
Anyway after watching tonights All Star game enjoy trying to deal with the boredom of having nothing going on in the sporting world umm how many different stories will ESPN run about Brett Farve and his possible return to the NFL during this time frame, I am saying over under 15 ..... any takers??
