So with all the wonderful stuff that went on with the red sox this season - winning the world series, the play of great rookies, awesome pitching - there was one horrible midseason addition who seems to finally be going away. I woke up and saw that Eric Gagne has made a preliminary agreement with the Brewers. I know that nothing has been finalized but the idea of seeing the lovely sox as reigning champs without fearing Gagne will be coming in to lose the game (saw it in person twice at fenway and that was more than enough). So see you later Gagne...enjoy the WS ring and please don't come back!
