So I'm sitting around with a few friends watching the SEC championship game on this lovely Saturday evening, enjoying it with both eyes. We're sitting here playing the "I hate..." game where you all go around and list things that you hate. Now, I know that this sounds particularly negative, but it's more about listing pet peeves than actual hates. One thing I do hate, however, is the fact that there is a real, good, long time until Spring Training even gets going. Wouldn't it be super...

So much to discus since my last post!  Well mostly on the DP front.  Due Process, I mean, come ON!  What is THAT about? I kid.  I kid.  But seriously, a six year deal and the AL MVP title?  I like it.  No, I love it.  When we went around the table at Thanksgiving to say what we were thankful for I said Dustin Pedroia's cat-like quickness and defensive perfection.  Well, not really, but I was a'thinkin' it.  Speaking of the giving of...

So last night I borrowed a friend's Guitar Hero game to give it a whirl.  After the initial pains of setting up the Xbox 360 (honestly, my kids are playing with sticks and rocks - technology is awful) we finally got the Aerosmith addition of the game a-rockin'.  That is, until we tried to move the Xbox and all hell broke loose.  I'm sorry, I wasn't aware that the slightest spring breeze sends this particular Microsoft product into a tizzy.  I used to slam the CRAP out of...

From my couch on this rainy Friday evening, it seems to me that the Sox are looking fairly decent going into this year's free agent hullabaloo.  We aren't necessarily 'dying' to fill any roster holes and in my opinion really just need to look into a big bat to get some clout in the lineup besides Ortiz.  Teixeira would be amazing - but Youk and Lowell are our guys at the corners and I am not willing to snub either one.  They've both been huge assets to our roster...

I, for one, am exstatic that Mike Greenwell and Mo Vaughn have been inducted into the Red Sox Hall of Fame.  Mo Vaughn not only provided me with my first real life look at a 'power hitter', but was absolutely MASSIVE when I met him at Nomar hitting camp on my 16th birthday.  (um, best gift ever.)Additionally, one of my first Red Sox memories was Mike Greenwell running head first into the Green Monster tracking a fly ball in left.  My little girl mind was absolutely...
