About Me
Although my parents had the nerve to move us from Stoneham, MA to Tustin, CA when I was 13, I've been a die hard Sox fan my entire life. We moved to CA in 1966 and in 1967 during the World Series, I had a transistor radio inside a hollowed out textbook so I could listen to the series at school. That was an amazing year and just what I needed having been transplanted 3,000 miles away. My Dad and I were huge fans, and like so many of his generation, he lived his whole life never seeing them win the Series. It has meant a great deal to me and to my memories of my Dad to have them win during my lifetime. I now am able to watch every game in HD thanks to NESN and Directv, that's the best thing to happen to this Sox fan in a history of being shut out from watching games here on the West Coast.
