(1) Go to a baseball game - Now don't just watch, but get lost in the game. Keep score, notice the little things, the things that make baseball great. Make sure you have a hot dog and a beer. Have a pinch of the finest crew money can buy. Hell wear a suit and a hat, smoke a cigar. Thats the way baseball was meant to be witnessed. (2) Catch a Salmon - Go to Alaska, get a 9 weight fly rod, tie your own fly and catch a Salmon. Nothing will be as rewarding as catching a monster King on something you tied yourself. Let it fight, it will be more rewarding if you have to work for it. (3) Talk to your dad - Have him tell you stories about when he was a boy, do it over beer. Preferably Pabst Blue Ribbon. Listen, and realize that those truly were the good old days. Hell spend every second you can with your pops, you never know how long you have with him. (4) Get in a fight - Get in a fight and lose. Get your ass beat, and remember that feeling. Then never let yourself feel like that again. (5) BELIEVE - Believe in something when there is no hope. Who knows your faith might be rewarded. (6) Most importantly LOVE - Love with all of your heart, love under the best and worst conditions. Love without fear of being burnt. When you hold back you're only cheating yourself.
