Mailbag: Hazel Mae (Day One)

Hi Guys – Today is moving day so I have my hands full. I want to thank everyone for all our thoughtful notes. I really do appreciate it… So let’s get to the good stuff - your questions and my answers.

I was just wondering like everyone else why did you leave NESN... and do you know where you are going for your next job?... just remember you are missed very much..
HM -- Thanks Bostonfan. Well, as I said in my press release, it was just time for me to move on. There are so many great opportunities out there and I wanted to see if I could take advantage of them. Being at NESN has only made me better at my job, and I will always be indebted to them for the chance to be part of red sox nation. As for what's next. You'll have to keep your eyes and ears open. The next chapter in my career will be just as exciting if not more -- trust me!! And it's always nice to be missed. :)

HM – LOL... Well, if you find where, let me know. I think the last time I saw them was outside the ballpark on Yawkey Way. Good luck and wear it with pride!!

What have you been doing with yourself? NESN sucks without you.
HM -- Thanks for the question Jerry. I've been trying to really enjoy my summer. Reporting on the Sox is a non-stop job - there's always something happening, right? Well, I'm actually trying to catch some games "as a fan", play a little golf (hope t o improve big time), spending time with my friends and family, and hanging out playing and watching sports on TV -- now that's the life!!

Unfortunately being in Australia I never get to see NESN at all so I didn't get to see you, but hey welcome!
HM -- Always a pleasure to hear from sox fans around the globe. Please say hi to all the Aussies down there and for goodness sakes try and get NESN on your TV!
