Right now I am a bee's appendage over 14 hours from boarding the first of many planes on my way to the US of A. Its been a long time coming but finally I am getting to make the pilgrimage to the park of parks. First up just a few hours from Perth (West Coast) to Sydney (East Coast), then the big haul from Sydney to Los Angeles, then another short hop to Houston and again on to Lafayette. A quick meeting and beers and then Saturday the 30th I get up and fly to Boston (via Dallas... is nothing easy???). Then at 5.05 when those gates open I will get to step into the greatest ballpark in the world! I will be standing on the Monster! Me! On the Monster!!! Something must have gone wrong because how can that be possible! Anyway thanks to everyone here on Sawxheads that has made me feel welcome before even stepping off that plane. I only hope the rest of the town is as welcoming as you guys and girls because it will be the best trip of my life. So if you are standing on the Monster next Saturday night, or in any of the bars around the park and you hear someone gobbing off about shrimp on the barbie come and say hi!
