About Me

Hi my name is Mike Zagora and I was born immediately after Rico caught the last out against the Twins in 67. Yes the impossible dream year! I have felt the pain of 75 and 78 first hand. I bleed Red Sox red and blue. I lived in Conn. until 89 when I went to Desert Storm . Upon returning to the states I got stationed in North Carolina and have been here ever since teaching these people about Red Sox Nation and have even converted a few yankee fans along the way. If you want to know anything else please feel free to ask. I'm pretty good at my sox trivia too.


UPDATE: Having been on this site for the 07 season I felt it was time to update my stuff just a bit, so here goes: The Folks I have met since coming to this site are true blue ( or shall I say Red,White and Blue) Sox Fans of the greatest kind and I love them all. Even the idiots who don't know a thing about Baseball or The Sox....I have kind of become a Stat Guru thanks to a very helpful site ( www.baseball-reference.com ). Its a very informative site that is updated daily through out the season and many useful functions such as splits and player comparisons....anyway I have developed some really great relationships on this site and love the way we all show a mutual respect for each other and our knowledge of the Sox (PAY ATTENTION NEEWBIES YOU MIGHT LEARN THINGS ABOUT THIS TEAMS HISTORY THAT YOU DIDN'T ALREADY KNOW) , while having a mutual disdain for anything Yankee's....this means no A-rod Theo....thanks for stopping by and feel free to add me, ask me anything, and most of all join me in rooting for our Beloved Red Sox through out the 08 season in the live game chat....MORE TO COME!!!!
