I think we had our first bounce, for the rest of the season's momentum. . . I know it wasn't against a powerhouse or playoff team, but it was needed, Papi looks like he is coming out of his funk, Ellsbury not only got 2 hits, and a run and RBI. . but TWO stolen bases, to finish his quest this season, Bay, Mr. Bay City Roller himself LOL Jason Bay went 4 for 5. . . and we're ROLLIN. . we had a moment, a rough patch, not guaranteeing that we wont have anymore this season: I threw up my "believe" profile pic, for good reason, if not mainly for myself... Manny was traded, Bay came in, and we lost 2 other prospects. But, worst of all we got swept by the Angels at home, things were looking glum.

I think Theo did this trade for one other reason than "JUST to get rid of Manny or get Bay"... the Rays were trying to instigate a trade for Bay at the same time, and by the time the deadline came up , the Rays got Bubkis, Jack, Nada, Nothing. . . Theo wanted to make sure that the Rays got NOTHING, so that is part of the motivation in the 1.) delay 2.) who we were trading for and 3.) what we were risking. . . . .

First of all, I don't mean to wax on poetically , but here goes.
I love it when the Sox play the Mariners, since I get to watch it on FSN (Fox Sports Northwest). I love the crisp bright white uniforms, the green monster and outfield walls of fenway, Pesky Pole, the green grass, the crowd, all the red and blue, the EVERYTHING.

Now. .first and foremost this Red Sox Fan likes a little fire, but. . and i mean this with all fiber of my being, I'd of thought that Coco, a vetran, leader on the field, example has to weight, we have our DH out. . our LF in DH, and if i go out. . that's just a minor leaguer in the OF. . so I should probably be the bigger man and take my best, and avoid a problem.

With the eve of the hopefully final Primary contest in this historical presidential race, another big, huge historical instance took place.
Jon Lester, cancer survivor, Game 4 winner in the World Series, and now, in the history books: Pitched a complete game, not only that but a NO HITTER. I'm the type of guy, and maybe this isn't why i'm cut out to be a GM, I'm one that looks at the whole, and not just at the current performance of a player: To Me Tavarez has been a really good guy to have in the Pen, and has done us well especially last year, had some good key spot starts, and didn't get us too deep in problem, but I guess I just hate to see such a "GOOD GUY" go. . .

It was indeed historical, inspirational and I have to admit he's a Rockstar. I'm a fan and not trying to mix too much politics here, but it was Historical none the less. Oregon hasn't been involved in the primaries for over 40 years. . last Candidate who came out here was Robert Kennedy in 68. . .
