True Fans
February 15, 2008
Real fans are loyal regardless if your team is 0-162 or 162-0 a real fan will stick by their team. A real fan also loves their team unconditionally and NEVER ever gives up hope and NEVER ever stops believing. I have really taken that to heart. Not just in baseball but in life I never stop believing. I have faith in my boys and my faith has been rewarded twice in my lifetime. Being a true fan also means that you have respect, not only for your team and for your fellow fans but for the great game of baseball in general. Now I may not have been alive to see Teddy B, or the Impossable Dream, or 75' and I was to young to remember the heartbreak of 86' but I have RESPECT for the Sox fans that suffered for 86 years without a WS Championship. I have the up most respect for the fans that died without seeing a WS Championship. I have respect for the fans that live and die with the Sox just as I do. The RSM are the cream of the crop, the truest of the true. They are protecting the legacy of the Sox. I have been chating with a few of them over the past couple of weeks and they have been nothing but great to me. I just wanted to thank you guys for everything. You truly help make me feel apart of something that is bigger than I. RSM is family, and a true family in that sense. I feel drawn to the Sox and I also feel drawn to the RSM. They are loyal, they love the Sox and they love this great country that we live in. I love the way that they stick up for what they believe in, and their passion is unmatched. RSM is family. I hope one day I can truly call each and every one of you brothers and sisters! MUCH RESPECT! MUCH LOVE! God, country, family, and the SOX! Believe and faith rewarded! I hope to share this season with each and everyone of you!
