it was a magical evening. There were a ton of people there and John Lester is the nicest man,along with the other players i met and chatted it up with .I spoke to Josh for about 10 minutes and folks let me tell ya he is just a regular as can be . I was nervous aproaching him and I touched his throwing hand softly not to damage it at all. I asked him about all the F bombs he throws down out there he chuckled and was very simply the only thing that came to mind!
He said i was beautiful I did not faint , and glad that I am a fan . My time with him was too short i could have sat there all night and just looked at him . I met his mom Lynn she was a great lady from TX. Told her she had a great boy there and she should be so proud . We got to talking how i have a great son going off to college ,and she was a pleasant woman.
I also had the chance to meet clay Buckholtz , what an adorable kid,showed him my tattoo he asked if it hurt !?? I told him not to have anything to drink cuz he was pitching the next day,he was amazed that i even knew that .He was so impressed by that we did the fist pound thing he was soooooooo cool! Speaking of cool the boston bruins #17 Luchicc was just the most laid back guy you ever want to meet. Javier Lopez is wow wow wow eye candy!! talll nice fella .He was with john Lester hanging by the bar having a good time . I came around the corner and literally bumped into John Henry strted to panic and then kept it together to talk to him how I have been a fan since I was 7 and how happy i was to see the success he has brought to the team,after calling him Mr. Henry a dozen time he asked me to call him John!!!
The night was just what i hoped it would be besides josh's girlfriend being there,dressed terribly by the way,The music the people my good friends with me to share in the joy I experienced that I will never forget.
