Where do I start? I am not sure what was harder to watch the loss in the 9th or the pain on Mikey lowell's face. I was so hpoing for the outcome to be a W ,between the pitching and the dramatic defense of Peddy and the valiant effort of our beloved Mikey,MVP if I recall of 2007 WS!
The control Josh had on his pitching was truly well worth a win.Our bats were silenced by thier ace,ironic enough.I was looking at the clock throughout the game and at one time there was an inning that was only4 pitches thrown,clearly a pitching battle.My heart goes out to Josh who deserved the win ,and let's face it compared to last year's performance he is not even close to par,I will take the blister problem over this !
With all the new upcoming players filling in spote here and there the team's seams are a little tight. Our Red Sox are a team that surpasses any other in baseball,we need that feeling again,can you say "cowboy up"? I want what is best for our team ,if that means Lowery can fill in for Mikey then so be it !! I don't ,or can't rather see the pain on his face like that again ,and I am sure the nation felt his pain . He is a great ball player ,father,and all around great giving man. Pleasae take the time to get better Mikey we all can remeber the chant "RESIGN LOWELL<RESIGN LOWELL" well we have him and he needs to get better and we will stand by him as the greatest fans in the world !!
In closing Congradulations to the Bay family welcoming thier new member ,great job last night Josh and Mike,just take it easy and get better we love you no matter what !!!!
