Well folks, HE DID IT!!! Manny has hit the glorious 500^th Home Run of his, sure-to-be, Hall of Fame Career. As I sat on my living room floor this evening, Listening to Joe C call the game, and spending time with my Sox Family in City’s Chat (www.freewebs.com/cityofchampions) , Manny came to the plate. I hear Joe C say, ‘…and the pitch…’. Honestly, I don’t remember much more than that right now. I heard the crack of the bat and I KNEW this was it. It sounded too good. Sure enough, PANDEMONIUM! I was totally geeked. Who am I kidding, I’m still geeked. I went through my house and kissed all of my kids. I told them to remember this night because it was special. I kissed my wife and shouted, in her now half-deaf ear, ‘HE DID IT!!’. I know this isn’t much of a blog, but I just wanted to share it with you all!
